The do's and don't of fashion.

No I don't consider myself a fashionesta or anything, I have a mom wardrobe (where t-shirts outnumber nice blouses like 10-1). But I do know a fashion mishap when I see one...

First, let's talk about Camo. If your planning on being out in the woods, hunting something then hey wear it all you want, or a solider, thats okay too..But when you're wearing camo pants, camo skirt over said pants with a camo top, a camo jacket and a camo hat...I think thats a bit much, especially at Target, I mean the only thing there worth hunting for are the sales. And some may argue it's in style, but seriously, just because a magazine says something is in style, I don't think it meant to wear it from head to toe. And I personally think camo should stay in the woods.

Next item up for discussion...Boxers. They're underwear people! THEY DO NOT BELONG ON 300lb men walking around McDonald's. Well they do, but I don't want to have to see them, so please put some pants on! I don't care if your gorgeous, please don't go out in public in your underpants. Yes I just said underpants.

Last item...if you go to a water park and your daughter is old enough to ride the big slides, she needs a bathing suit that covers everything, just because she is flat chested, doesn't mean you can let her run around topless. She's a girl. Yes I'm a prude.

I agree with all of those, but especially the topless little girls. Even before I was a mom it just didn't seem right to me that girls that were old enough to run through sprinklers were topless. Even if they are too young to understand modestly, adults are not.

LOL!! Totally agree about the camo! I do, however, let my girls play in the pool in our yard in just their unders. But that's just HERE. And we live way out in the sticks. On a dead end road. But when we go to the beach, those little girls are appropriately covered, I promise!

Well I guess thats okay ;) But I am sure that by the time your girls are old enough to be "developing" you'll have them clothed all the time right? Because these parents didn't. Of the two I saw doing this only one set of parents were aware of it, the other just happened to find their daughter running around topless, but that's another issue.
