I need a break...

So today started out well. I finished editing my work for this week and sent it off, I started the housecleaning, I had time to spend with the kids, things were going well.

Then...I happened to go into the upstairs bathroom because I was going to clean it, and the toilet had that look to it. You know, the uh-oh someone put something in it look. Why can't it ever look this way completely clean? I mean seriously. So I got out my trusty plunger and start plunging away. The plunger turned inside out. What tha? Okay so this plunger is I think for miniature toilets. Not real ones, its leftover from my husbands college days where apparently they have little toilets. So I am plunging away and figure, well thats enough plunging I am going to try to flush it now. As the water in the bowl rose my stomach did too. Now I had a huge mess to clean up. Dirty water ALL over the floor. Well back to step one, plunging. I thought if maybe I tried a different approach things would go smoother. So I took a step back, and sent the plunger flying into the water, pulled it out, and did again. And then for some reason I thought it was fixed *note sometimes I can be a bit dumb, this was one of those times* so what did I do? I flushed it again. Now the dirty water was creeping toward the door. Not good, I grabbed some towels out of the closet and through them on the floor. Now for the third and final approach. I tried leaving the plunger in the toilet and just plunging that way, it appeared that some of the water went down, so I made my stupid mistake number three. You'd think by now I would have learned. Yep thats right, I flushed it. And guess what! If you guessed that the water went down and I was left with a sparkling clean toilet bowl you are wrong. Thats right it overflowed...again. At this point I decided it would be smart to call my husband. Who told me to leave it alone until he comes home.

So what did I learn from this? A. Do not try to flush more then two diaper wipes at a time. They don't go down. In fact they clog your toilet. B. Give up early. and last but not least, C. Don't keep flushing the toilet.
