It's that time..

It's Wednesday again so here goes....

I used to imagine myself as a tortured artist type of soul, and would pour my heart out through writing. Now looking back I just realize I was immature, had a bit of writing talent and I was a "bit" of a drama queen.

I wrote a letter to my future self when I was 12. I was supposed to open it when I was 24. Of the things written to myself the only thing I have accomplished is that I have married the man of my dreams. I do not own an Arabian farm in Colorado. Oh well.

My celebrity crush was Jonathan Taylor Thomas, I thought he was the bees knees. I wrote to him once and I got back a signed photograph. I still think he looks the same today as he did when he was 12. I also wrote a screen play for him, in which I got to play his girl friend. (Hey I was 12 people!)

I have never understood why women pay people to rub their feet. I think feet are disgusting and don't want any one touching mine.

I think Nicholas Spark's is depressing. All of his stories are the same, no one ever ends up "happily ever after". I think it's nonsense. If I am going to read or watch something, I want a fairy tale ending.

I think grown women who watch and obsess over Twilight need a better hobby. I mean seriously? I can understand the whole tween/teen obsession but grown married women? Do you not have better things to do with your time, that you must obsess over a sparkley vampire who in my opinion (and remember this is just *my* opinion) can't act, and a werewolf guy who looks a little too feminine, and who again can't act (I haven't watched the movies, but have seen Valentine Day, and clips from the movies, this is where I am making my judgment from.) I feel better now. By the way for you "Twi-hards" out there, I am sorry if I have offended you.

*Disclaimer* Yes I am aware that fairy tale endings don't always exist, but neither do vampires.

No offense taken. ;-) A true Twi-hard has read the books and couldn't care less about the actors. (I think they all stink personally... except maybe Billy Burke.)

Anyhoo, scoffing is totally understood if you haven't read the books. (I've done the same thing to other people on other subjects.) I am more than willing to discuss it with you (in a totally fun nagging way) when you have read all 4 books and then still want to scoff.

Someone (not sure who) even got Gigi to read the books and she's Twi-hard now too. I think the appeal for the young kids are the actors/movie hype. But the appeal for the older people is the escape from reality in the books and characters.
